Vulva, Clitoral and Nipple Pumps

When most people hear about pumps for sexual purposes they automatically think of penis pumps. There are a few different kinds of sexual pumps beside penis pumps. They include vulva pumps, clitoral pumps, and nipple pumps. They are lesser known than penis pumps, but are well worth getting to know for the sexual benefits to you and your partner.
Suction is a great sexual tool. It helps increase blood flow to the genitals or erogenous zones. The vacuum created by vulva, clitoral and nipple pumps is also quite pleasurable on its own. They are a useful tool for partnered sex or masturbation.
Let's start with the vulva pump. You may not have even heard of this device before, and you are not alone there. Vulva pumps are not as common as their penile counterparts. They work on a similar principle. The sleeve, often looking like an oxygen mask, fits over the vulva snugly to form a vacuum. Then, like a penis pump, the air is removed by a hand or battery operated pump. This creates a pleasant sensation from the suction and brings blood to the vulva, making it more sensitive.
You might want to shave or at least trim up the hair on and around the vulva before use. This not only helps with suction, but with comfort as hairs can get pulled by the device. You also want to use plenty of lubrication, water based is best with this type of toy. Lubricate the rim of the sleeve with a generous amount of lube before you begin. You want to start slow with both the pumping and how long you leave the pump on your vulva. 10 minutes should be the maximum amount of time to leave the pump on in a session.
Clitoral pumps work the same way. The bulb is placed over the clitoris and suction is applied. The majority of clitoral pumps are manual as the area is small and very sensitive. This causes the clitoris to temporarily grow and become more sensitive. This can aid in sex or masturbation. Some find the sensation enough to orgasm but for others it increases pleasure to make it easier to orgasm through clitoral stimulation or even penetrative sex. Use plenty of lubrication to make a good seal and increase comfort and decrease odds of an injury.
Nipple pumps or bulbs are used to create suction over the nipples. Again, this temporarily increases the size and sensitivity of the nipples. Nipple pumps can usually be bulbs or cups that you can manually suction, although they can also connect to a hand or battery pump. There are also twisting styles that when twisted , move the plunger in closer and closer to create the vacuum seal. This makes the sensitivity of the nipples and for some people can increase the chances of a nipple orgasm, or an orgasm purely through nipple stimulation.
Nipple, vulva, and clitoral pumps can be a useful tool for arousal. Whether with a partner or for self pleasure the heightened sensation feels great for sexual play. These lesser known toys are worth learning about and getting familiar with. You may even discover new sensitivities and preferences!
