Hit the Spot

Hit the Spot

There are many, many erogenous zones in the human body. The most intense ones are usually different for each individual. Some people are sensitive to their neck, others their feet. Everyone, however, has one tried and true spot to bring it every time. In biological females ( sometimes called vulva owners ), it’s the g-spot and for biological males( sometimes called penis owners) it’s the prostate, or p-spot.

Let’s start with the g-spot. The g-spot, named for gynecologist Ernst Gräfenberg, is an erogenous zone inside the vagina. It is located about 2-3 inches into the vaginal canal on the front side. It is between the vaginal opening and the urethra. It is not a distinct and separate part of the female anatomy, so some experimentation on your own or with a partner or partners may be needed to find it for each individual. Using a "come here" motion with the finger in the right spot can stimulate the g-spot for arousal and a more intense orgasm. There are also many toys available on Badd Kitty that provide g-spot stimulation. Because many women do not usually orgasm from penetration alone, g-spot stimulation during sex can be incredibly helpful in achieving orgasm. Certain positions during sex can cause this stimulation. These positions include cowgirl, doggy style, and closed missionary. (Closed missionary is achieved when the woman closes her legs during missionary and the other partner puts their legs outside of the woman's) The g-spot can be stimulated with other positions as well , again experimentation is key. Communication is important so be sure to tell your partner, if you are the one being stimulated, or ask plenty of questions if you are the one doing the stimulating.

In men, prostate stimulation can cause arousal and orgasm. Sometimes referred to as the "p-spot", the prostate can be stimulated in various ways. It is a small, textured, raised area on the front wall, about an inch inside the anus. One way to achieve this is through perineum stimulation. The perineum, commonly referred to as the "taint", is the area of skin between the scrotum and the anus. Firm but gentle pressure in this area, with fingers or a sex toy, can stimulate the prostate and intensify orgasm. Another way to stimulate the prostate is through anal penetration. Using fingers, a penis, or a penetrative toy, and plenty of lubricant, slowly and gently proceed. Start with shallow insertion, then go deeper as the person being penetrated is more comfortable. If using fingers, use the same "come here" finger motion we talked about above to stimulate the area. Also as stated above, communication is always key. If you are the one being stimulated, tell your partner when what they are doing feels good and when they are off the mark. If you are doing the stimulating, encourage your partner to let you know what feels good and when it might be too much.

Being familiar with the g-spot and p-spot, for your own sexual pleasure and those of your partner or partners can be incredibly helpful in your sex life. Enjoy your exploration!
