Thigh Highs
Thigh high stockings that stay where you put them: silicone lace-top stay-ups, sheer backseams, fishnets and opaques from Dreamgirl, Leg Avenue and Coquette in one size and queen.
How to choose thigh high stockings
There are two kinds. Stay-up thigh highs have a lace or vinyl band with silicone grippers inside; they hold on their own and are what most people want. Traditional thigh highs have a plain welt and need a garter belt, which is the look for lingerie and bridal. Then pick the knit: sheer nylon with a backseam is classic, fishnet is the costume and concert choice, and opaque or athletic stripes read as streetwear. Thigh highs come in one size and queen; the product page gives each brand's height and weight range.

Frequently asked questions
How do thigh high stockings stay up?
Stay-up thigh highs have one or two strips of silicone inside the lace top that grip clean, dry skin. Traditional thigh highs have no silicone and clip to a garter belt.
What size thigh highs should I buy?
Most thigh highs are one size, fitting roughly 90 to 160 lb and up to about 5 ft 8 in depending on the brand, with queen for taller and curvier bodies. The product page lists the exact range.
Why do my thigh highs roll down?
Lotion, oil or a band that is too stretched out. Put stay-ups on after your skin is dry, pull the welt flat rather than folded, and if your thighs are at the top of the size range choose queen or use a garter belt.
Can you wear thigh highs with a dress?
Yes. Sheer stay-ups with a plain or backseam finish look like regular stockings under a dress; lace tops show with shorter hems.
