How to choose a garter belt
A garter belt sits at the waist or hip and holds stockings up with four to six adjustable straps. The number of straps matters more than the lace: four straps are fine for sheer thigh highs; six straps hold heavier fishnet and opaque stockings without twisting. Look for hook-and-eye back closures and metal or sturdy plastic clips. A garter slip combines the belt with a short chemise, so it is one piece under a dress. Belts run S to XL and 1X to 2X, with plus cuts in the lace styles.

How do you wear a garter belt with stockings?
