Collars & Leashes
BDSM collars and leashes for power exchange and pet play: discreet day collars, leather and bling collars, fur collars and matching leash sets from Sportsheets, Master Series, Ouch! and Rouge.
How to choose a BDSM collar
Decide what the collar is for. A day collar is slim and subtle enough to wear out, like the Sportsheets S&M Shadow and Indica day collars. A play collar is wider, often with a D-ring for a leash, and is worn only in a scene. Leashes add control and movement for pet play or guiding a partner around the room. Check the inside finish (soft lining is kinder for long wear), buckle type, and whether the D-ring is sturdy enough to clip a leash to. Never attach a leash to anything that could pull the neck suddenly.

Frequently asked questions
What does a BDSM collar mean?
In kink a collar marks a submissive or pet role and, for some couples, an ongoing dominant-submissive relationship. Play collars come on and off with the scene; day collars are worn as everyday jewellery.
What is a day collar?
A slim, discreet collar that looks like a choker or necklace so it can be worn in public without reading as fetish wear. Sportsheets' Shadow and Indica day collars are the examples here.
Is it safe to pull a leash attached to a collar?
Only gently and never with a jerk. Use the leash to guide, not to yank, keep the collar loose enough to fit two fingers underneath, and attach leashes to a harness instead if you want firmer pulling.
How should a collar fit?
Snug enough not to spin, loose enough for two fingers between collar and neck, with no pressure on the windpipe. Soft-lined or padded collars are more comfortable for longer wear.
