How to use

1. Go to the bathroom first and wash the plug.
2. Use plenty of lube on the plug and around the anus; the body doesn't make its own.
3. Relax, breathe out and press the tip in slowly. Let the taper do the work, and pause whenever you feel tension.
4. Once it's past the widest point it settles in; the curved base keeps it in place.
5. Remove slowly. Stop if you feel sharp pain.

Lube and cleaning

Water-based lube is the recommended choice: Tantus marks the Neo "not recommended with silicone lube". Its FAQ also allows oil-based lube, but oil breaks down latex condoms, so check Tantus's care guidance before using anything else. Clean with mild antibacterial soap and warm water or toy cleaner, or sterilize by boiling fully submerged for 2 minutes or on the dishwasher top rack. Store it in a lint-free pouch.
