A Fleshlight is a brand of male stroker: a soft, textured sleeve inside a hard case that you stroke with, designed to feel like penetrative sex. Badd Kitty does not stock the Fleshlight brand, but we carry strokers from Zolo, Pipedream, Arcwave and others that do the same job. Here is how they work.

Quick answer
- Fleshlight is a brand name; the product category is male strokers or male masturbators.
- A stroker is a soft sleeve, usually TPE or silicone, with an internal texture you move along the penis with plenty of water-based lube.
- Types: manual sleeves, open-ended sleeves, vibrating strokers, suction and air-pulse strokers, and automatic strokers that move for you.
- Badd Kitty does not stock Fleshlight. We stock Zolo, Pipedream PDX, Arcwave, Curve Jock, Blush M for Men, Svakom and Badd Kitty Blue Line.
- Use water-based lube only, rinse after every use and let the sleeve dry fully.
What a Fleshlight actually is
Fleshlight launched the modern male stroker: a soft sleeve with a realistic opening and textured tunnel, held inside a plastic case with a screw cap to adjust suction. The brand became so well known that people say Fleshlight when they mean any stroker. Functionally, the category is simple: a soft material you stroke with instead of your hand, with texture and squeeze your hand cannot copy.
Why we do not carry the brand
Our buyers stock what our customers reach for in nine boutiques, and the strokers below have earned the shelf space. If you specifically want Fleshlight, we would rather tell you straight than sell you a near miss.
Types of male strokers
Manual sleeves
The simplest and cheapest. A soft tube with texture inside; you provide the motion. Open-ended sleeves let a partner see or touch the tip and are easier to rinse.
Vibrating strokers
A small motor adds buzz to the sleeve. Squeezable cases such as the Zolo Squeezable Vibrating Stroker let you control pressure with your grip.
Suction and air-pulse strokers
Instead of vibration, these use pressure waves around the frenulum. The Arcwave Zing is the best-known example we stock and feels nothing like a sleeve.
Automatic strokers
Motorised units that stroke, rotate or thrust on their own, often with app control. They cost more and need charging, but they are hands-free.
Enhancing sleeves
Not strokers exactly: our Badd Kitty Blue Line sleeves are worn during partnered sex to add length or texture. Worth knowing they exist if that is what you are really after.
How to use a stroker
1. Warm it up
A cold sleeve feels like a cold sleeve. Run it under warm tap water for a minute or leave it somewhere warm; it makes a surprising difference to how realistic it feels.
2. Lube generously
Squeeze water-based lube into the opening and along the full length of the sleeve, and apply more to yourself. If there is any drag, add more. Sleeves use far more lube than hands.
3. Start slow
Ease in and use long, slow strokes to feel the texture. Vary grip pressure with squeezable cases, and twist slightly on the way out. Speed can come later.
4. Adjust suction
Cased strokers have an end cap: tighten for more suction, loosen for an easier glide.
5. With a partner
Open-ended sleeves let a partner use their hand or mouth on the tip while the sleeve does the rest. Strokers are also a good way to keep things going during a break from penetration.
TPE vs silicone sleeves
TPE is the softer, cheaper, more realistic-feeling material; it is slightly porous, needs thorough drying and lasts a year or two with care. Silicone sleeves cost more, feel firmer and are non-porous and easier to keep clean.

Lube, cleaning and care
Strokers need more lube than you think: a generous amount inside the sleeve and on you. Water-based lube only; silicone lube and oils break down soft sleeve materials. After use, rinse the sleeve inside and out with warm water, clean with a toy cleaner, and air-dry completely before it goes back in the case. Stored damp, sleeves develop mildew and smell. A light dusting of cornstarch keeps TPE sleeves soft. Go easy on grip and speed at first, and stop if there is any chafing or pain.
